The Russian Revolution of 1917 marked the beginning of a new period in human history. This was the first time that the oppressed were able to come to power — to take it and hold onto it. This changed the course of world politics in the 20th century.

Of all events, the Russian Revolution inspired the greatest hope among working people of the world who struggled to build a society based on justice and equality.

Join the PSL in discussing the legacy of the Russian Revolution and its lessons for the movement today with Gloria La Riva and Richard Becker, activists and authors of Storming the Gates: How the Russian Revolution Changed the World.
