Sacramento, Calif.  

Supporters demonstrated at the headquarters of the California Department of Corrections in Sacramento in solidarity with thousands of prisoners in the state who went on a hunger strike on July 1. They united around five demands raised by prisoners at Pelican Bay directed at gross human rights violations.
