Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Peace and Freedom Party!

Program includes: Cindy Sheehan, James Vann, Gloria La Riva, Dave Welsh, and Marsha Feinland

The Peace and Freedom Party of California was founded in 1967 during the movement for civil rights and against the Vietnam War. Today, the need for liberation, peace, and justice is greater than ever. The PFP is the only party on the ballot in California that calls for socialism, as well as democracy, ecology, feminism, racial equality and internationalism. Black Panther Party and American Indian Movement members, socialists and anti-war activists, have run for office as PFP candidates.

While the mainstream media features only the two parties of the wealthy, we invite you to learn more about the party that represents the rest of us. We would like to share our rich history as well as discuss how to build the movement that we need today.

The event will include a historical photo/video exhibit and refreshments.

The PSL supports and participates in the Peace and Freedom Party.
