We need a different way forward. Is there a better time for socialism than right now?

Join students, workers, activists and others on Saturday, Nov. 21 in Los Angeles for a Socialism Conference hosted by the Party for Socialism and Liberation. The keynote speaker will be ANSWER Coalition's National Coordinator and PSL member Brian Becker. Find out what socialism really is and why it is the only answer to the misery created by capitalism.

A Day of Guest Speakers, Workshops, Discussion & Entertainment

Capitalism is a criminal system--it must go. We are seeing this reality more and more each day. The U.S. government is greasing the system's wheels to ensure that banks and big corporations take trillions, while millions are losing their jobs and homes in California and the rest of the U.S. Deep cuts are gutting public education, making health care less accessible and decimating nearly all social programs. Unemployment in LA is 20 percent! More racist cops are on the streets, and business for the military- and prison-industrial complexes is booming. Workers and students are being hit from all sides.

The Nov. 21 conference will link the struggles against war, racism and bigotry with the fight for economic justice. This conference will be an important opportunity for political activists to meet, analyze, discuss and propose solutions. A radical reorganization of society is necessary to meet the needs of the people rather than to maximize the profits of bankers and corporate executives, who have driven society onto the path of endless war and economic suffering. Join the struggle for socialism!

There will be speakers, workshops and discussion. Special workshops will be led by Students Fight Back and UTLA union teachers, by March Forward! anti-war veterans, by socialist activists and others.
