In the midst of the most recent attempt by the United States to overthrow the democratically elected government of Venezuela, the Party for Socialism and Liberation Brooklyn, presents a timely free screening of the 2003 documentary The Revolution Will Not Be Televised, a film detailing the 2002 failed coup attempt against Hugo Chavez in real time. The result is an expose of imperialist entitlement and a testament to the people's revolutionary will.
Join us on Thursday, March 28th, 7pm at 85 South Oxford St, basement floor- as we watch this story unfold and learn from an all-too-relevant history of the fight back struggle in Venezuela. Following the screening, stay for a discussion on our solidarity work here in building an anti imperialist struggle in Brooklyn!
This will be a potluck style event- so bring a snack, beverage or dish if you can- we'll have the popcorn!
