Breaking The Chains: A Socialist Perspective on Women's Liberation is a unique growing and popular publication bringing critical issues facing working-class families to the forefront of popular movements. As women around the country are today asking themselves: How can women best defend and expand their rights in the age of Trump? BTC has given serious thought to these questions, and provides an exciting perspective on how women can fight back and win.

Past BTC magazine editions have included “No Borders in the Women's Liberation Struggle”, “Outrage and Optimism: Women Confront Imperialism”, “The Struggle for Healthcare” and “The Housing Issue.” BTC magazine has been used by women fighting back against patriarchy and who are organizing to build a society free from sexism, racism and anti-LGBTQ bigotry.

BTC’s editor, Nathalie Hrizi, is a public school teacher librarian in San Francisco, where she lives with her two children. She has been a union and social justice activist for many years and twice ran for California Insurance Commissioner in 2018 winning more than 295,000 votes.
