SF: Puerto Rico - Colonialism and the Debt Crisis

October 14, 2016 at 7:00pm - 10pm

In the 1890s, having subdued the Native American peoples through a century of genocide, the United States capitalist class embarked upon an equally ruthless campaign of overseas expansion. Join us to learn about the history of Yankee colonialism, the colonial roots of Puerto Rico's ongoing debt crisis, and the heroic resistance of the Puerto Rican people.
